Quick and Cheap Holiday Ornaments!

Sometimes
when our budget is tight, our Christmas trees and holiday rooms can seem a
little bare. No problem, I have some great ideas for decking those halls with
cheap, easy and quick ornaments!
*Tie a ribbon around a pine cone, dip half the cone in white craft paint for
snow, and let dry on a piece of foil or waxed paper. Hang from curtain rods,
porch overhangs, or the tree!
*Hang your cookie cutters with red curling ribbon.
*Ask your kids if you can borrow all those darn fast food toys that you’ve
been stepping on, and hang with ribbon.
*Check out the thrift shop for old costume jewelry…especially earrings, makes
a great ornament!
*Invest in one roll of wire edged ribbon, and learn to tie a bow. For
instructions, try

Beautiful bows tucked into the tree make quite an elegant impact for very little
money!
*Cut last years gift wrap into squares, (or pick up some from the dollar
shop!) fold into a fan with an accordion fold, and tie from ribbons on the tree.
*Use yellow craft foam to cut simple stars, thread a hanging loop with a
needle, and cover your tree with the sign of hope!
Get your kids involved, and make this year a celebration to remember, no
matter how tight your budget.
Bless you all, and Merry Christmas!
