Picture Frame Pillow
This decorative pillow features a floral motif as the centerpiece. The
crossed-corner border forms an attractive "picture frame"
Measuring Up- You will need
a front piece of fabric whose width and depth are those of the pillow form
plus six inches for the flange border and seam allowances. For the back
pieces, add five inches to the depth and then cut the fabric in half
across the depth of the fabric.

Materials- Fabric, pillow form, braid, tassels
1. The the two
halves of the back piece and turn 5/8 in to the wrong side along
the cut edge of each. Press. Turn the same amount again, sew and
press. Overlap the hemmed edges by 2in. Baste together across the
ends. |
|
2. On the
front piece, draw two parallel lines with chalk on the
right side of the fabric, 3in from the edge. Lay a strip
of braid along each chalk line and baste in place. Repeat
for the other two edges.

| 3.
Place a tassel at each corner, slipping the ends under the
basting stitches. Sew around the edges of the braid,
securing the tassels as you do so. |
