Pillow Talk

 Have you ever wondered how you can create a decorator look on a budget without breaking the bank? Well here’s a designer secret for you. Think pillows! Pillows come in a wide range of shapes, sizes, price points and designs. And they can be easily changed out from season to season or when you simply change your mind or color scheme!
I found these fabulous pillow accents by Lilly and Ardon while I attended the HD Boutique in Miami Beach. This is an annual event that showcases all the hottest new trends in boutique hotel design from flooring to bedding, wall coverings to art, and then some! And can I just say, it was really an awe inspiring visit checking out all the fantastic boutique hotel designs that could easily translate into any living space.
Decorating with pillows is pretty simple, however, you’ll want to consider your overall look especially if you want to create a mood or punch up the room with colorful accents!
I like this classy monochromatic look of white on white. The hints of tans and grays layered onto the off-white background of the chair adds just enough interest while keeping the look sophisticated and alluring. The shag throw also makes the space inviting nestled amongst the textured showcase of pillows in a wonderful mix of textiles and embroidered fibers.
So the next time you’re thinking about creating a designer look on a budget, think about using pillow accents like these to create your own signature style. It’s an easy way to make a big splash in any room.
