So often we overlook our overhead lighting and especially so when we’re renting an apartment, condo or other living space. However, an overhead lighting fixture can set the tone for any decorating theme, it can add drama to a any room and command attention especially if the space is sparsely decorated.
The good news is that it doesn’t have to be complicated to change the look of your overhead lighting. In fact, it can be as easy as replacing or recovering the old shade or temporarily hanging the fixture from a ceiling or wall hook. This way you can take fixture or add-on’s with you when you decide to move.
Today, designers are rethinking the way we view lighting fixtures by using creative innovations in lamp design. This brilliant new way of decorating and illuminating our living spaces can now become not only functional but a modern masterpiece that can become the perfect focal point for all to see and see with!

But if decadent isn’t your thing, then keep it really simple. Just add-on beads, prisms or other fanciful adornments! |
