Women constantly approach me about home décor and especially about how to create beautiful floral center pieces. Creating cozy, inviting and interesting floral designs can be really simple if you follow these easy rules.
THINK “INSIDE” THE VASE:
If you’re on a budget when entertaining your guests, flowers can be one of the more expensive items to purchase but here’s a great idea using an inexpensive vase, some craft wire, and a few stems of German status. Unroll about 3 yards of 20 gauge wire from the spool and nest the wire “inside” the vase. Next, add water and flowers and let the wire hold the flowers in place. Almost any flower will make due as long as it is in proportion to the vase size.

SIMPLE SURPRISES:
A single flower –such as a lily--may not seem like much however, when you add a little bling---in this case spiraled wire, it can become quite a nice surprise. This is an easy project. Cut 20 gauge craft wire into 6 inch lengths. Next, loop the end of the wire with needle nose pliers then wind the wire between your fingers to create a swirl. By leaving a one or two inch wire tail, you can easily insert this wire shape into the center of a Lily for an interesting floral design.
