Trick: How would I remove a carpet stain ? Tip: You have a few options, some are strange, but they all work.
Trick: Fixing That Smell Tip: Before you vacuum a room, put a few drops of fragrant oil on cotton balls. Vacuum them up! Your entire room will be filled with a wonderful aroma !
Trick: I have little holes in my walls from hanging my pictures....in the wrong place. Tip:
Mix cornstarch or talcum powder with
a few drops of water. Force this mixture into the nail holes and smooth.
When it dries, take a toothbrush to even out the texture to blend with your
walls!

Trick: My rental still has old contact paper in the cupboards- ugh! Tip: A warm iron run carefully over the surface should allow you to peel it right off!
Trick: How do I keep my table linens from wrinkling?
Tip : Use a multi - skirt hanger. This will keep the linens flat and crisp after ironing (it is also a great space saver) !
Trick: I store things under my bed, but it sure is tough finding what I need.
Tip: Try using an old dresser drawer and putting wheels on it. Paint it to match your decor - easy to store - easy to retrieve !
Trick: "I love candles, but how do I remove the wax from my furniture."
Tip: Don’t try to remove the wax when it is hot. When it cools, if it doesn’t come right off, give it a LITTLE warm up with your hair dryer....then just peel it off !
Trick: How do I fix vinyl flooring curling at the seams or corners ?
Tip: Warm the vinyl with a hair dryer to soften, clean floor underneath, apply vinyl flooring cement to the back of the vinyl and press vinyl in place. Place something heavy on top to hold it in place until it dries as per the instructions on the cement.
