Leading online decorating publication sponsors, "The Best Dressed Nest" competition judging professional and personal design projects geared toward renters. MODESTO, CA (April 8, 2005) – Rental Decorating Digest ( http://RentalDecorating.com ) a leading online publication providing solutions to help renters stay within rental guidelines, is sponsoring the 2005 Annual Rental Decorating Awards. This contest will challenge novice and professional designers to create “The Best Dressed Nest.”, using “renter friendly” techniques. “The awards were established to encourage people to think creatively about the interior areas in an apartment, home, studio or dorm”, says Tammy Schoppet, Founder. “Our goal is to teach the rental community that decorating is not limited to homeowners. Because some rental guidelines can get in the way of a great decorating idea, we want renters to think outside the box and make their rented space their home, regardless of their temporary living status.” Since this contest is not limited to only renters, any decorating enthusiast or professional will be able submit decorating projects. Personal and professional submissions will be judged separately in the five following categories; Best Decorated Apartment, Best Decorated Home, Best Studio Design, Best Room Design, Best Budget Design. There will be a $500 “The Best Dressed Nest” Grand Prize for each top novice and professional winner. The novice award will also include a $100 gift certificate sponsored by Art.com. The professional grand prize winner will receive additional feature article and other promotional recommendations. The deadline for entering the 2005 Rental Decorating Awards will be July 29, 2005. Winners will be announced in the September 2005 online issue of Rental Decorating Digest.
